EXPRESS ENTRY
Express Entry is an online points based system used by the Canadian Government to manage immigration applications from skilled workers.
The three programs under the Express Entry system are;
o Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – targeted towards skilled workers with Canadian Experience
o Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSW) – targeted towards skilled workers with foreign experience
o Federal Skilled Trade (FST) – targeted towards skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade.
After assessing your eligibility for one of the Express Entry programs above you go ahead and create an online Express Entry profile. You will be required to enter information which includes education, work experience, language skills in addition to personal details.
After inputting all information, the system will automatically compute your Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) and determine your eligibility.
Let us help you to determine if Express Entry is right for you.
PNP
The Provincial Nominee Program is designed for individuals who possess the requisite skills, work experience and education to make a valid contribution to the economy of a particular province or territory. The program is best suited for workers who want to live in that specific province and who have a desire to become permanent residents of Canada.
There are different immigration programs with their own requirements for each Province and territory. Provinces have programs targeting students, business people, semi-skilled and skilled workers.
SPONSORSHIP
One of the main pillars of Canadian immigration is Family Reunification and there are quite a few sponsorship options available to assist in bringing eligible family members to Canada to reside permanently with their loved ones.
Contact us to discuss if you and or your loved ones are eligible to apply under this program.
Study Permits
A study permit is a document issued to foreign national students by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) which allows them to be able to study in Canada. A study permit is issued at the entry point coming into Canada. Before a study permit is issued you need to have the required travel visa to enter Canada.
Labor Market Impact Agreement (LMIA)
A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document issued to a Canadian Employer by Employment and Social Services Canada (ESDC). This document gives Canadian Employers permission to hire foreign workers temporarily. A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for foreign workers to fill jobs and also show no Canadian is available to do the job.
Work Permit
A work permit is a legal document that is issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to foreign nationals such as temporary workers, business people and students who are interested in taking up employment in Canada.
